Yeah, I want to see us fail in a conflict that future generations (and don't forget, our generation too) will be paying off for how long, who even knows.  There's a difference between wanting to fail and coming to the realization that failure on an embarrassingly massive scale has already occurred, and you can't do much of anything to fix it. I'm sick of Bush and countless other Republican hacks trying to put a band-aid on this lost war.

The terms make no sense. My stab at it is:
Victory would be making the Sunni's and Shiites stop fighting and get along and run a government together.

The fact remains whether we have 150k troops or 1 million troops you can't force the sunni's and shiites to have a peaceful government unless you do so at gunpoint with sheer military force. The SECOND you leave it'd go back to the civil war we are having now. Thus imo making it impossible to win.
