It's Kung Pow Wednesdays in my house tonight. I watch a kung fu film every week on Wednesday. This week, I'm watching City Hunter, starring Jackie Chan. Feel free to join me here: http://plug.dj/the-bore/

City Hunter is a surreal film. In typical Jackie Chan fashion, it blends kung fu with comedy. Like the manga/anime City Hunter this is based upon, it's very silly and slapstickish.

I usually really like Jackie Chan movies, but didn't really care for City Hunter all that much. Except for the Street Fighter 2 scene.

Light Years is one weird movie. Same with Fantastic Planet. One of these days I need to hunt up Time Master and watch that, too.

We could watch The Man From Nowhere. It's a Korean action film that is ok. Nothing spectacular, outside of a knife fight at the end, but it's a cool watch.
