You should care about Hotel Dusk because it's a point and click adventure and those are these days. Even more so because the game has a striking look and appeal.





Someone at EGM gave it a 10 also.

May 12, 2006 - Nintendo announced Wish Room during one of its DS announcement floods last year, but we're just now getting first details on the game thanks to the latest issue of Famitsu. Wish Room will be released in America as Hotel Dusk, and was on display at E3 2006 in Los Angeles this week.

Wish Room is being developed by Cing, the developer of Trace Adventure, for Japanese release through Nintendo. The game is set in the Los Angeles suburbs in 1979. You play as Kyle Hyde, a salesman who was once a detective.

Your adventure as Kyle begins as you search for the whereabouts of your missing friend. Your search takes you to Hotel Dusk, a hotel rumored to have a room that can grant wishes. You end up spending one night in this hotel, surrounded by some strange characters.

Cing isn't just doing Trace Adventure with a new story. While Wish Room promises control almost exclusively through the stylus, the game is meant to be played with the DS on its side, just like when playing Train Your Brain.

Wish Room also has one unique feature that separates it from other titles. Backgrounds and maps are in full color, but all character artwork is in black and white.

You can download DS games? How would that work?

Well see, the games you buy can be ripped using a special cable that connects to your pc.( or you can download these dumps off the internetz)
 
Then you can put what was dumped, .nds files, onto a romcart which launches/plays them like a normal game. It's pretty cool.

the small chip can also fit into the sd card so you can load games and shit
