Interesting topic. Personally I'm not that attracted to white women. As I've said before, I prefer more exotic looking women from different cultures (mainly south American). Thast doesn't mean I don't think many white chicks are hot or something: there are a lot of good looking white chicks, but they don't grab my attention like other women.

This topic has been debated over at family dinners and events for years. Now that I'm at the point where I should be looking for women (lol, spare me the ribbing for a sec) according to my mom I am beginning to hear more things. I've shared conversations that I've had with my aunt and grandma on this subject many times so I won't do that again, but I will say this: it is indeed true that many black guys go for the homeliest, average, overweight white women they can find. NOT ALL BLACK GUYS DO THIS, I know. But I would challenge you to search for black guy/white girl couples and not see this pattern. Why is this?

As some have said, white chicks put up with a lot more shit than black chicks. This is a stereotype of course, but in my experience it's not far from the truth. Let's face it: black women are more...aggressive than white chicks.

Is it because, as some people say, black chicks don't do whatever a guy wants sexually (IE oral, anal sex) and black guys feel a white chick will give them that, and a big white girl can give him big ass too. That's what I've heard.

BUT

There's also the idea of the slave mentality. The idea that we've been conditioned and told that fairer skin is superior to darker skin, and that straight hair is better. Many social studies have been done on this issue. Personally I don't agree that this is the main reason; people like what they like period. Is someone "racist" for thinking straight hair is superior when those with "nappy" hair fry it to make it straight lol. What I'm getting at is maybe it's not just the black man who thinks that white women are better. Maybe black women think the same, and that's why they're so combative about the issue

From a psychological perspective it makes sense. We're talking about a group of people that has been opressed and desensitized for 400 years on the continent. That kind of mental abuse does not just disappear. But at the same time, to constantly use it as an excuse to garner government handouts or excuses is plain wrong.

There's a reason my grandma doesn't seem to trust white people and prefers black doctors to check in on her. And to tell the truth, I could never critisize her for her thought process because I simply cannot fathom it.

I agree. But when I say "slavery" I'm not just referring to people picking cotton; we don't know anything about that. I'm talking more about a state of mental slavery which has been going on for far longer than the physical slavery.
