I decided to go to KFC today, which is the first L of this. All those commercials for the "Double Down" kind of intrigued me since I like tasting every new fast food item. For some reason I had this thought in my mind that they're small sandwiches so I ordered two, and a large set of potato wedges...

Those sandwiches are huge as fuck, and a large serving of wedges is like a BOX of wedges. I assumed it would be like a large order of fries or something.

I ate it all tho

it wasn't bad but the mere sight of it is pretty ugly. It would have been better with bread

If that's what it means then I fucked up multiple times today. Not eating like shit is one of the hardest things I've had to do willpower-wise. I was even able to quit masturbating ~~for a week~~, but this is tough.

I'd try it simply out of curiosity. I thought it would be messy as fuck but it stays together well. Super greasy though. Doesn't taste bad but it's rather dry in spots where there's no sauce/cheese.

I feel like a better chicken place could make it way more tasty.

We got fried chicken this week from a shed on the side of the road named "Chickem Coop." The drive thru didn't have a speaker, just a window to order. Then the lady has you park out front and she waves at you when it's done. CHICKEN COOP. It was phenomenal.

There's a reclaimed Arthur Treacher's that's been preserved by time because probably the people who bought it didn't think it was worth the cost. The drive thru is just an intercom on two sides of a wall and then the guy has to go in this other room on the other side of the bathrooms to get to the window. The cooking equipment is basically a few big vats of oil. Everything is fried seafood or chicken. There's usually only one (of two) dude who runs the whole place. If you eat in he brings it out to you too.

The lady running this place was using the same $50 fry daddy we have at home. I hope she had big professional fryers in back, for her sake. SO GOOD.
