So apparently Kadokawa has acquired From Software from Transcosmos (parent company? Not sure). Looking into synergy with Kadokawa Games (ick).

For clarification, Kadokawa was behind Demon Gaze, Killer is Dead, and a large variety of shitty games based on anime series. They're also behind the money making giant that is KanColle.

Anyway, probably good for From? Armored Core has been kinda waning in the US for two generations now. De/Dark Souls is the moneymaker for them in the west, AFAIK. Their stuff is generally niche. If it means From can bankroll King's Field/Souls without Namco shenanigans then I'm for it.
