There are unproven kids these days coming through on 80k base - Rooney is almost certainly getting the vast majority of that figure in base salary - it was done as a statement of intent to show that United were commited - also bear in mind Rooneys agent has played games three times to get his salary pumped up

I personally dont rate rooney that high - but other club teams in england still do

Suarez is a genius - genuine world class talent and as a neutral he is amazing to watch - I would add last season he was a reformed character : limited diving, no biting, very little antics

as for England - nice 4 pts in the prediction league

I love teams who play a passing game, it's why I love Arsenal, admire (but hate) Barcelona, love watching the Spanish pass around a football and adore Ajax of the 90s
