costa rica are punching above their weight but are still a distinctly mediocre side (albeit, one with a killer offside trap). they exploited the space which uruguay and italy gave them when they pressed their assumed superiority, but even a toothless greek side limited to them to only one or two shots and had the better of the play (and that was before they had a man sent off) just by being a little more conservative.
i feel like LVG has everything he needs to put together a strategy which will chew up costa rica. should be a lot more fun than tonight, whatever happens.
