I got a ticket for the Seattle one. Might have a couple beers beforehand and show up in the hopes the free stuff is awesome.

Yes, going to a theater at 9 at night to watch a live broadcast of a bunch of middle-aged business men try to sell me their gadgets while I'm surrounded by gaming's "elite" sounds like a great use of my time.

The Seattle one isn't very far from one of my favorite beer bars, so I'll have a pint or two at the Pine Box and then walk on down to Pacific Place. Starts at 6pm out here on the west coast, so I'll be home by 8:30pm.

I didn't ignore it! We need to figure something out.

In reality, I'll probably realize sitting in the theater is a dumb idea and end up not going. And then kick myself when thy give something really cool for free. :-)

So that's how they'll get rid of the left over Vita's. I'll be going to the one nearest me up in San Fransisco. I kind of wish I was going this year, but next year I'll be in a better place to do that.

That's what I'm thinking. If they can't state what the gifts are (I guess for supply reasons) it isn't worth the 45min-1 hour commute five towns over to do this thing/suffer other people for it. $:-\$
