I'd love a game with WW's animation quality and generally colourful / contrasty spirit. WW has aged brilliantly and is still lovely to look at -- some of the other games? That's not so.
I think it'll be stylistically closer to the demo they showed though... there'll be butthurt either way if its not perfect. I honestly just hope they do whatever they want, and don't shoe-horn fan expectations into their planning and creative process too much. I think the big thing they'll have taken away from ALBW is that people love the orchestrated music, and they love the ability to do dungeons out of order etc. I also think if they've made such a good effort for Mario Kart, they'll be making a similarly big effort (visually) for Zelda.
I'm starting to suspect that all of the Wii U Nintendo games released so far share some DNA. There's something about the materials rendering on Nintendo Land, Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 that says to me maybe we're looking at some shared code -- as Super Mario Sunshine and Wind Waker were said to. I've been reminded of Wind Waker HD's sky and bloom once or twice in Mario Kart 8 too. If the games are all related in this way, I'd love to see some of the effects on show in Mario Kart 8 (on Moo Moo Meadows, GBA Mario Circuit etc) show up in Zelda. It has a bizarre cartoony style in which realistic effects actually look really nice.
