you know i've said it back when we had the ground zero thread and i'm going to say it again, based on my experience with ground zero this game has nothing to do with metal gear solid, it doesn't control like metal gear solid,it doesn't have metal gear solid goofy B action movie dialogue,it doesn't have any plot reason to exist as it's all enacted in it's own pocket dimension, so far there isn't even an actual metal gear in the game! you know? the thing that gives the game it's name? the whole thing seems konami last ditch attempt to aim at the western market by throwing their most compatible IP at it and doing things the western market is obssesed about, like open world enviroment, and a deep moral story about the horror of wars and the occasional rape/vagina bomb just so that gaming journalism can have their way by writing tons of really dumb articles
i mean this game has african child soldiers,people getting waterboarded and a whole trailer that's like 50% people punching each other
ehy, remember how torture was portrayed in mgs1? i'll tell ya, it was done with a 4th wall breaking joke, the second greatest 4th wall breaking joke a videogame has ever done
