Well that's disappointing. The original trailer (which didn't look like it was at all fake) actually looked like a fresh action game. This....This looks like a shovelware wii game.

I was expecting great things from his team.

The Wii U can have this game.

This looks terrible but I liked a lot of Japanese PS2 B-games back in the day and would probably enjoy one today if the mechanics were good.  Uh, will keep an eye on it and see how it turns out combat-wise.

The Gamespot multiplayer live demo is pretty rad. It trends insane for the better and looks really... fun and different? As mundane as the early vid look this one pushed me kind of Day One-ish...



Singleplayer Gamespot is pretty awesome too. Homing knife stabs and Vanquish-cover speed? Sign me up.

If the end product is like that trailer, probably not.  And what about multiplayer?  They didn't mention anything about it.  Interest pretty much dead if it's gone.

i think that like most cases it's like the wonder twins.  itagaki ain't the same without tecmo, and tecmo ain't the same without itagaki.  it's too bad they split because they're both poorer for it.

Dead Or Alive is arguably better post-Itagaki.  It's Ninja Gaiden that needs him back.  Badly.   :'(

Ninja Gaiden 2 was, IIRC, rushed/possibly unfinished due to the falling out Itagaki had with Tecmo.  But even then people say it's better than Sigma 2.  And we do we even need to bring up 3?   

I can't really say much about these games since I've never been able to get into them like some other action titles.  The most time I spent was on Sigma 2, but I never finished it.  I pretty much have just liked the Kamiya games (Devil May Cry 1 and Bayonetta) and that's been it.
