If I thought Chaos Theory was a 10 and Conviction was a 4, what's Blacklist?

6. It's not on Chaos Theory's level, but it fixes a lot of issues Convicition had. Play it on Perfectionist, it's the only way to play it.

You still might not like it as it has more in common with conviction than it does with those older splinter cell games. All I can say is, its a much better and enjoyable game than conviction was.

Kentucky Route Zero is what I've been waiting for, but not sure if I should wait to see if its a daily deal later.

Are you gonna play it soon if you do buy it? If not, wait.

Thinking about it, I will probably not play it soon. I still have to finish off some other games first, and then it'll likely be GW2 patch time.

So I'll hold off.

I should probably get it then, didn't mind Conviction even though it's not a real Splinter Cell game. Do I have to use uPlay?

Bought Noir Syndrome because it looked cool

not really, no.  if you decide to play one of the two before Knight, at least City has the story and gameplay connections.

Play City.  If you still want more between then and AK, then pick up Origins.

I'm going to give Origins another chance when I get my new PC next week.  It didn't run all that great on my old PC and was buggy as fucking hell-- got stuck at a part in the game where an event that was supposed to be triggered never happened, making it impossible to make any progress.   :-\

Fan-fucking-tastic, if you aren't used to Grand Strategies there's a steep learning curve, but it's more overwhelming than it is difficult. Forget the DLC except for the 9.99 expansions.

Does anyone know if Rome II is worth getting right now?

I've only seen Baldurs Gate 2 pop up in the voting once, and of course assholes voted for the other pack of games which have all been on special a dozen times. I already own the original from some D&D pack I bought eons ago, so I don't want to spend more than 5 or 6 on the remaster.

If Ikaruga doesn't go on sale for anything more than 50% off, I'll pull the trigger on it at the end of the sale. I had forgotten that it had come to Steam at all, and the game is easily worth $10, much less $5 or $2.50.

(will obviously try to get it for as cheap as possible tho, cause I'm living in OBAMA'S AMERICA)

Sure; I had fun with the Leon and Ada campaigns.

I'd put Ada's above Chris and Jake's, but :what . That campaign is pretty much poop from the butt the whole way through.

With the exception of Maybe Ada 1 or 2 (whichever is the castle) and Leon 1-2 4-5 (when they're in the city/post-terrorism events) the whole rest of the game is just bad.

Though, I'll give Jake's campaign chapter 3 some props for being visually interesting as a lab. Probably the first interesting lab for the series since 2's huge multilevel underground lab.

It's essentially an FPS [in the way the controls are structured], so there shouldn't really be any problems there.

you mean playing with keyboard and mouse?

my feeling playing it was that it's preferable to play with a kb/m.  more than most games due to player agility and verticality in levels.

For real. I bought the DVD-Rom for like $20 in 2011. Then when Origin launched, I redeemed the retail CD-key there since it wouldn't take on Steam. Now this sale for $10 means I finally get it on Steam to where I don't have to boot Origin outside of Battlefield 3/4.  :lol

Decided to play Far Cry 3 before Blood Dragin because I know if I do it the other way I'd have shut off 3 within about 10 seconds. I'm actually enjoying 3 except for all the shitty story stuff, but since I skipped all the AC games since 2 the  "Ubisoft game" garbage is still relatively fresh to me.
