What the hell is Shenmue Passport

It's a bonus disc that let's you view stuff from the game. Like when you unlock stuff in the story you can view it. It also has super high res 2004/2005 era game models talking that gives me hope if there's ever a Shenmue HD release. Shenmue passport is a compliment for Shenmue. It's not like, an actual part of the game.

Yes, for scores! You could upload scores from the arcade games and stuff.

They also had a profile for every character (every single npc, even the ones who say throwaway shit) in the game. All of them had a backstory and you had to access their stories via online.

The package with Passport also came with a disc containing a bunch of Virtua Fighter 4 footage.  It was like Sega was teasing Dreamcast owners with a "FUCK U THIS IS GONNA END UP ON PS2 LAWL" troll.
