I'm in town and planning on being at con for at least a few days. I'll go ahead and warn everyone, though- I don't got to these things for panels or discussions or whatever. I go to cut loose and be publicly drunk for however many days. If you can deal with that, we can hang.

I work right around where it's usually held.  And will be avoiding it at all costs, which is pretty easy this year-- going on a short trip to Savannah that weekend.

The founder of the popular science-fiction convention DragonCon was denied bond on Friday in a Gwinnett County case involving multiple allegations of child molestation that has dragged on for more than a decade.

I haven't checked out DragonCon before but a few friends of my ex go down every year and they said it's pretty fun. I'll be attending Otakon in Baltimore next month though. And possibly a day of NY Comic Con, not sure yet on that one...
