Can't fall asleep without my socks on if it's cold, but my sleeping socks are soft and not too tight and only to be worn in bed. I still always wake up with bare feet and my socks lost somewhere in the sheets.

Cool. I don't like using though. I get the whole "by reclaiming the word we strip it of its power" thing but its history still makes it heard for me to say it as a term of endearment. Intent is all I care about if non-blacks wanna say it. Not worth getting upset over imo.
