Witcher 3 downgrade containment thread past 700 replies so far.
At least the mods are letting this thread happen. It's a shame that threads like that are usually locked because spergs can't stop themselves from having fits.
I must be getting older and not giving as much as a fuck about graphics on a technical level, because the downgrades in question don't seem that significant. It definitely happened, but the game still looks really good artistically in gif form.
PC version maintains a lot of the characteristics on their high and ultra settings, but got hit with the nerf bat for sure (Yet still looks really good). PS4 version and xbone versions look like they shouldn't have even tried on console and the Sony stanleys are taking it especially hard (And are mainly the ones going ballistic after crowing so hard that it would be 1080P over the xbone's 900P. When your Image Quality is that gross, it becomes a moot point).
Same thing happened with Project CARS, no downgrade on the PC Version but the fact the Console versions were mainly medium settings (And the SMS devs dropped in the thread to confirm it then told Sony stans to get a PC if they want better quality otherwise, go fly a kite) sent them apoplectic. It's super predictable these days.
