I guess me because I'd love to be on GAF. At least there they don't mock anyone actually attempting to talk about shit in some shitty attempt to seem above everyone. At least there they won't mock you for arguing your point to some fucktard who couldn't even read the list he has seriously passing off as proof that "oh you're wrong".
I remember when I would type out long responses or musings on Gaf, they would largely go ignored or I'd talk to like, one or two people.
When it comes to game discussion, sites like Gamefaqs are actually a lot better. When it comes to discussions about TV shows or movies, IMDB's forums are way better. When it comes to anime, I have no clue. But Gaf is actually a really lackluster place to discuss most things.
The majority of people here have been part of many forum rodeos. I joined The Bore last year and noticed a month or two in that the people here value simple, to the point discussion. And what isn't valued is long winded arguments or quarrels over things they don't care about.
Getting heated and agitated over the discussion of Code Geass and people mocking you for that isn't some outlandish thing. No one here is a Code Geass megafan, so the weight of the entire debate rests on your shoulders.
