The days when official thread OPs would be just "hey guys this game comes out today or tomorrow, dunno because it's the ship date. Any one get it yet?" and that'd be it were awesome. No one fought over shit. This all changed with Bruce Leeroy and those early ps3 game threads.

I made the Official Lost Odyssey thread. It's the first and only one I made.

I enjoy it's simplicity and I think it actually told you want the game was. It sure wasn't part of this "yo dawg look at my photoskillz" arms race thats taken over.

Lost Odyssey. That game made me bwaaaaa. I wanted to finish it but it was too damn slow.

Here's what I wonder. Are some of those "OMG Phootooshoop!" OTs are funded by companies. Not all of them, not most of them. But surely, some of them must have content handed to them. If I was a marketer, no way I'd let some schmuck on a huge gaming forum make the OT about my game. Just sayin'

Maybe it's just me but both the wife and I think that sections of GAF just sorta become insufferable. It told her before I got banned (again) I was getting real tired of it. Then I remembered this place.

You should see the confessional it's full of complaints about GAF.
