Well, watching the police video, he did respond with "nah, fool." He definitely knew what was going on. Walking away, telling the cops no, and then an odd movement all contributed here.

Now, it sucks that the cops opened fire, but I can't really say that they didn't feel threatened here. They want to go home to their wives and kids at the end of the day too. This isn't just a cops issue, this is an issue of cops being scared because there's always a chance that they're confronting an armed suspect, because guns are just out there and easily obtained.

I don't know how I feel about this one yet. It's clear that the guy had a chance to listen to orders, but it's clear (now) that he was unarmed. Tough call.

Edit: And he didn't just reach for his pants. He pulled his shirt up. That's pretty easy to mistake for someone trying to get to a weapon

...I actually sort of agree with this to an extent. There is a reason there are very, very few movies or shows built around solid, stable relationships. They're boring to everybody who isn't in one. My life was a hell of a lot more book worthy before I settled down. I wasn't correlating promiscuity with negativity, but having trouble with relationships is a problem if you're actually seeking to make one happen. The point is that sex while young with people who are in positions of power/adults in general can definitely warp how you approach both sex and other people in general.

Yep. Something I've dealt with and still do often.

I dunno what to say, my experiences probably wont help you much and it's very difficult to put into words. I still date a different girl every other month, havent had a relationship longer than a couple of months since forever etc, but I've instead of trying to change dealt with it by filling my life with more friend time, self improvement time (cooking classes, studies etc). It works out for me, cause I have smashing friends, even if I only have a couple.
