Those Legend Of Korra threads are something else. So much damage control going on right now. I said the game looked real shitty the other day and a bunch of fanboys immediately jumped down my throat. Now they are busy trying to explain away the 3/10s and 4/10s it's getting from reviewers
Was watching a stream and the game looked like some phoned-in kinda stuff. Shitty on-rails wolf-riding sections. Repeat bosses where the game literally tells you how to beat it (ie: you can only do decent damage by doing counters and not normal attacks, and it's kinda amazing that all three streams I'd watched had people
not get the concept as to why the game told you to use four counters against a boss). Mostly repetitive areas with seemingly-little combo potential. Granted, I hate judging something by footage, but it looks incredibly unremarkable across all three streams I'd watched. I want to play it so I can see if the game holds up if I play it myself, really. But I don't think that'll be for a long time.
I just couldn't say how I felt aloud because Platinum Can Do No Wrong (and should develop every game ever).

for people who desperately want their hobby to be seen as art, gamers are mindblowingly ignorant about what a healthy creative community looks like
It's funny how they criticise homogeneity and then turn around and call for certain aspects across games to be homogeneous.
