I mean bad games drop sure, but it ain't like devs are out here intentionally dropping shit. I never got that one, Pandemic was the price to pay to get BioWare in that whole shady affair, EA was always going to dump them asap, they were lucky they got the time to finish The Saboteur and even Merc's 2 that they did.

Both were hott. The Saboteur truly so and Mercenaries 2 in a this is so stupid EVERYTHING MUST EXPLODE fun way. Especially since it was early in the generation.

Funny enough, High Voltage which was headed the way of Pandemic on their own made those two Conduit games that bombed, went all in on WiiWare and making Wii ports for other people, never released the other exclusive Wii HIGH TECH stuff they had announced and were headed towards shut down...now, they're apparently financially sound (added like 30 employees last year) doing mobile games and up-ports. (Zone of Enders HD, Saints Row IV to PS4/XB1, Mortal Kombat and X to PC, Injustice to PC/PS4) Plus the occasional Ben 10 fighting game for everything. (Their only Wii/Wii U game since 2011 or something.)

The High Voltage port of Zone of the Enders was complete and utter garbage that a second company had to come in and salvage. Based on stuff people have posted about the other ports, those didnt fare much better.

Though Marie Rose is like... 15-16? in DOA5:Last Round. It's Tecmo's attempt to pander to the loli pedo bait crowd. No one in the west likes the character because of the creepy pedo-bait outfits and art-style.

Even the Tekken 7 character Namco basically is basing on Marie Rose's "design" a little is getting creeped out vibes in that fanbase.

No, 14 in Ninja Gaiden. I was roughly estimating as it's been a while.

Really though, the bigger deal is the DOA1-4 ages. They didn't even age any of the "old-school" cast (Tina, Kasumi, Ayane, Lei-Fang) for four outings (which were years apart if I remember the timeline right) until after Itagaki left and then they aged a lot of the cast over 18 so it wasn't so "grey area" for people that were fans of Ayane only to backtrack to... Marie Rose.

When the Wii sold like hot cakes, Nintards just assumed that every developer was going to put their best stuff on the Wii.  They got very angry when all they got were PS2 + waggle ports or third party shovelware like Carnival Games.  Regardless of how well Nintendo systems perform, they pretty much demand that developers provide AAA exclusive content or else they aren't interested.  It's kind of funny to watch, especially now that the Wii U is selling slower than the Dreamcast did more than a decade ago.
