Its sorta silly how some Gaf mods get angry or bitter if people shit talk a part of the community or the community as a whole. Their role is to reinforce rules, nothing more, nothing less.

That being said, the handling of community threads in the past year has been dog shit. The Super Best Friends thread reached 17 full threads in a year, anyone that peeked in for five minutes tops would see some weird ass shit going on. Meanwhile threads that have their own style or members that don't post inflammatory shit get locked because "neogaf isn't a chatroom."

Ironically HaloGAF provided tons of content, links, and all kinds of stuff for OTs. 343 devs posted there and attracted tons of new posters. I think someone just plain doesn't like people socializing and forming bonds because it's some kind of "threat."
