The current mods are fine. The problem is the userbase, Evilore in general as the head, and the tone set for the community, and just its general size.
You can have great mods but if most users are console warriors or just general idiots, it doesn't matter.
The modding in general is much better than it use to be and certainly when I was there and it hasn't noticeably improved the quality of the site. The mods are an easy target and of course there are occasional stupid bans and such but if we are being honest, that's not the problem.
