He said that CT and blood test came out fine. Oh hey! Finally got that blood test! How's her liver?

Someone who doesn't have history of seizures (does she?) comes out of a seizure not knowing who Obama is or who the guy she's with is? How common is this?

And her memory is back the next day?

Chances she will have memory problems again during today's check up?

I can relate, quite eerily, to one aspect of this story.

Himuro, I know you're trying to help, but seriously fuck off with faking conspiracy shit theory, it devalues the fact that someone I care about went through a traumatic really fucking serious situation.  When they ran lab tests they said her lactate was high, which is evidence of a seizure.  She fucking chipped half a molar off from the teeth clenching and urinated all over herself.  It was pretty fucking bad.

There's times when you call someone out for drama, but someone having a sudden medical emergency is not an intentional act and is not something you blame someone for.  So fuck off with the blaming.

In all honesty the plane stuff in the OP sounds like my worst nightmare. I hate hate hate "hiccups" in travel stuff and that sounds 10x worse than anything that's happened to me. Solidarity there, bro.

what DID bebpuu expect from this thread?

Quote
"bebpo, real talk: this girl is beautiful and totally worth all the effort you put into helping her -- and it's amazing how much you suffer to make it work! we really respect that. stick with it, she'll get better when she realizes how much you sacrifice for her (you noble soul) and you'll be rewarded with the manic pixie dream girl you've always wanted. crazy, sexy, beautiful -- and she believes in ghosts! it's all gonna work out SPOOKY right, man!"

Sometimes I post shit about me irl just hoping someone will call me a piece of shit. :aah

Maybe it's the same underlying logic for Bebs.

Though he did kind of listen to y'all when he tried to break up with her.

Beb, I can't pretend to know this girl, even though I met her when I met you.  And the five seconds with her were some of the most baffling five seconds I've had.  Regardless, you're too much of a stand up guy IRL to have to deal with this shit.  You deserve a normal fucking girl and life, none of this bullshit.

But if you're continually finding your way and making excuses to get back into this, it sounds like you love this sort of danger and drama even if you don't want to admit it.  It might be hard, it might make you depressed, but you will feel much better in the long run if you cut it now.  This is just screaming "divorce" and do you really want to go through the most stressful thing in life, next to marriage?  Especially marriage to this girl?

Regardless I don't even know why you're coming to us for advice, what the fuck do we know.  Ask people in your own goddamned life, as professionals, therapists.  We make dick jokes, we should not be your therapy session.

Okay first of them all, I have to say that trying to debate whether it was a seizure based on the description by someone who presumably had never seen one before isn't a good idea. If the blood test suggests that there really was one then she probably did have a seizure, she wasn't just seizing attention. /rimshot

Anyways, Bebpo if this is someone that you think you want to marry for the rest of your life, then you probably are really good friends. And maybe that's better for both of you than getting married. The best thing to do I think is to take a few weeks break with no contact at all, she could stay with her parents during that time. Then when the period is over you can both see with fresh eyes if there's any problems with your chemistry or trust.

There's nothing wrong with the story in the OP other than that feeling of dread you get when reading it because you think something crazy is going to happen based on the stuff you posted in the relationships thread. You should also learn how to be more concise in your writing.

Eh. He's broken up with her and gotten back together with her repeatedly. It's probably one of the reasons it bothers me so much: I was in a similarly dysfunctional relationship (far less drama though, to be honest), and many of my friends joked that they wanted a restraining order put on us, so that we couldn't be within 500 yards of each other when we were around them.

If Bebs is lucky, he'll get his reality check before long, and move on to a more productive and balanced relationship. He's got his own shit to work through, but as long as he can devote his energy to his current GF, he won't have to focus his energy inward, where it's needed.
