I'd play non MGS games from Kojima. I'm not sure why a SH by Kojima would automatically suck since the guys pretty good at interactive shit the fucks with the player. His knack for that could at least make one good horror game. It's why I was disappointed that the Phantom Pain turned out to just be another MGS game.

Either way this is a Japanese developed Silent Hill. It's good news no matter how you slice it.

reading about what Kojima said about the game, it went something like: "if you make a game too hard people won't play it. so fuck 'em. you will shit yourself (this part is verbatim)" which is not what I want from Silent Hill, so we'll see how it turns out and if the P.T. teaser is representative of Silent Hills.

I spent most of yesterday playing that teaser. I lost a damn day to a teaser! The last time that ever happened is never. I eagerly await the game if that was what I can expect from it. I like how kojima has been unapologetic about its scares and has basically made poop your pants the game.

Did anyone see the balcony ghost and think it was kojima?

Kojima's rambling incoherent plot lines full of batshit crazy and his penchant to focus more on the cinematic experience instead of gameplay actually works incredibly well for a horror game. I'm genuinely excited. It's like they finally found a genre that compliments him.

Also they should cut to the chase and rename Konami to 'Kojima Presents'.
