I guess you never heard of the Africanized Bee.

They are fucking vicious, love to swarm, and if you get even close to their nest they will light your ass up. Regular bees are cool though, I guess I should've been more specific.

Heard about them, but didn't think about them when you said that. My mum has a couple of bee hives (normal bees obviously) and they are absolutly peaceful, you can stand a couple meters away from the hives and the bees don't care about you.

Cockroaches and mosquitoes get no mercy, flies can live if they piss off, otherwise I run a catch and release as well.

And the oosuzumebachi (giant wasps)?  They get my fear and infinite respect.  I will literally cross the street or stay inside my house to avoid going near one.  I'm super racist against them.  I had one fly in my window a few years ago, thought he went back out so i closed the window.  Woke up the next morning to hear a giant buzzing sound... slide open the door to my living room, fuckin' thing is flying circles in there.  So I head out to the balcony, open the door from outside, and out he goes.

I saw my first one of these up in the mountains a couple weeks ago. The fuckers are a little bigger than the size of my pinky finger. I didn't think, just moved away at a brisk pace. It was one of those Dark Souls moments when the enemy is revealed in line-of-sight, and the player is just all: NOPE. I would have Homeward Bone'd if I'd had one. Jesus.

There was a story I ran across a few days ago where some Japanese dude had trained a giant wasp into wearing a leash. Jumpin Jesus Christ that thing was huge. Thank Allah I live in a part of the world where insects are miniscule.

about a minute into this, there's the Oosuzumebachi wrecking a normal wasp nest.

I had a palmetto bug attack me in the shower once, I bludgeoned it to death with a shampoo bottle.
