Yeah, the English subbing was done in Japan for the continental Asian release, and are total Engrish. People justifiably assumed they would be fixed for the American release. Nope.

I'm probably going to kick myself later on for asking a genuine question about the game, but...

How does this game "work", exactly? I understand it's an ARPG and that you sleep with people to rank up with them or something (unless I'm misunderstanding), but is it balanced in terms of stats and stuff, and does ranking up with your buddies grant you perks in battle? How well does the Risk System work in your favour and is it easy to read enemies in order to take advantage of it?

I'm still trying to figure this out myself. The tutorial is basically like "Press a button to attack, but sometimes press another button to do something else. Please understand." Probably gonna need to hunt down an FAQ online.
