I'm moving to paradise (half a block from a Taco Bell in case you forgot), but there's a slight snag--the walls of my room are a ghastly sea foam green and I need to cover them with as much crap as possible so that people don't think I'm more

than they already do when they drop by. (I won't even tell you about my ceiling light fixture.

)

"But Karakand, surely an effete aesthete such as yourself already has a variety of items to cover your walls with?" WRONG. I read too much Epictetus back in the day or some fucking shit, went a little loopy (There's a shocker. -ed.), and discarded every wall appendage I had save for a diploma and a print I couldn't bear to part with for sentimental reasons. (I remember when I had a very large bedroom in Los Angeles one of my friends remarked that it was like I didn't even live there.)

HELP ME PLS BOREANS

Simple Rules:

1. No fucking creepy shit. (e.g. Saturn Devouring His Son)
2. No fucking Monet. (Manet is OK doe.)
3. Cheap is good.
4. No fucking van Gogh.
5. Vintage advertisements are OK if people wouldn't recognize them.
6. No agitprop troll posts pls.

He's authoritatively declining a glass of vodka (from the look of it (e: and the date on it you moran Karakand) I'd say it comes from the anti-drinking campaign of the 50s); I think we can all agree that me putting that on my wall pushes well past the irony envelope.

Yah there's a couple of anti-drinking ads on that site I linked. I picked the nyet one because of the eyes. It's got the Soviet Realism stare beyond the horizon, but the pose is framed so he's staring at you at the same time. So it feels like you're being looked through while at the same time you feel there's nothing behind those eyes and you're staring right through him as well.
