These games aren't for me. You need to be a slave to your device all day long if you want to remain F2P and still maintain your shit.

Im sure i will find out soon enough when this ominous timer that protects my base runs out when im on my honeymoon.

The game offers me the option to protect the base for a week for only 700 green crystals, which is 10 bucks in the shop lol. Who pays and plays this shit?

Prob will have to deinstall then.

What happens when your base gets raided and destroyed in clash of clans?

you lose coins, elixers, and trophies.

So for star wars you would lose alloy, credits, and medals.

Nothing permanently bad. Your base in CoC is like a persistent garden which requires tending, and your collection sites only hold so much before they quit collecting, so you have to move things to more permanent storage. When your base is raided, each of the resource piles can be attacked separately, so that should inform how you design your base layout.

There's a balance issue about being able to save up a resource for a particular upgrade, and taking time off will allow multiple raiders to attack over time, depleting carefully hordes resources.

My problem is that I've got much better defense building skills than attacking stratagems, and I can't seem to get paired against anyone I can beat, but no-one can deplete enough of my Trophies to kick me down to a less competent level.

pff, there's no money in endless runners anymore
