Huh, 8 titles I'm kinda interested in. Three of which can be gotten on last gen. So...  :lol Another may make a portable apperence due to NIS porting the series 1-3 years later to Sony's handheld. So... *knock on wood* that's another thing on PS4 I can ignore for now.

Leaves 4 titles. Not too bad, but not great yet.

Persona 5, Yakuza 0, Resident Evil Rev 2, Senran Kagura, Ys, and no shows like Final Fantasy whatever.

Well there's enough PS4 games to make me happy. Not ideal, but it's something. A lot of them are cross gen, but at least the PS4 versions will be the best versions.

Hell at this point I could get rid of my Vita and miss nothing as everything good is coming to the PS4.

It's offline tie in PSO garbage that ties into a game that's never coming out in Eng outside of SEA, no less, so you don't have to worry about it getting localized anyway.

Pffft, that's nothing. I'm still angry PSO was ever a thing at all, as it ruined the best, most underappreciated jrpg series of all time, ever. It never got a proper sequel past the 16 bit era, which in my opinion is still Sega's greatest crime. Fuck those people, and fuck everyone that every enjoyed that shitty Diablo clone.

If true, it means FF15 for steam is a lock. It also means I won't have to buy a ps4.

This news is huge.

FFXIII on steam is so choice and I find that game mediocre. It's choice because it puts the latest single player entry on one of the biggest jrpg franchises directly on steam. If it does well - and it will given VII, VIII, and XIV sales on steam - this will mean more Japanese games and rpgs period. :bow Even if you don't like FF13 you should get it on Steam. :rejoice WE'VE FINALLY DONE IT. :rejoice

I'll admit, PSO is clunky. Especially in today's standards. But PSUniverse revamped the combat slightly and so it was a "brain dead Monster Hunter clone" before Monster Hunter was even a thing, which is fine with me since I can't stand Monster Hunter.

I want PSO2 so bad.
Then DL it and set up a VPN. :P The vast majority of the text is translated via fan patches, even the items can be in Eng now despite being a serverside thing via injecting a dll.

But it says steam. If it were specifically for Dive In and not steam, Steam wouldn't be listed as a platform. After all, when Dive In was first revealed, it was revealed for mobile devices. If that's the case, and the listed platforms are the dive in support platforms, where's ios and android?

Well, we'll see.  I'm betting on Square's laziness and desire to cut corners, you're betting on their ambition and recognition of the situation outside the borders of Japan.

Calling it. Steam releases for the XIII Collection and XV. But hilariously un-optimised ports at the same time. Everyone wins :rejoice
