I'll be honest: If iWatch is just an iPhone without the mobile stuff in it, I'd buy it. Depends on app support, of course.

- iPhone 6 (4.7") is what I will be getting when I move to the US in place of my Danish iPhone 5.

5.5" is too big and too tacky.

Fuck long ass phones. I'm not a big fan of where android phones are going especially samsung. The note is ridiculous. iPhones size was just perfect for me.

more intrigued by the iWatch stuff now at this point though.  Daring Fireball posted some hype-level stuff last night about it.

New generation A8 chip, 2 billion transistors and 64-bit support. It's a 20nm process.
The A8 is 50 times faster than the original iPhone.
It's up to 50 percent more energy efficient than the last-gen chip.

There are new advanced wireless specs -- 150 Mbps LTE.
VoLTE support is included as well.
WiFi calling will be available on the 6 and 6 Plus.
It will have seamless handoff capabilities as you go from WiFi to cellular and vice versa.

It has an 8MP iSight camera, with True Tone flash; large, 1.5-micron pixels; and f/2.2 aperture. There's also a new sensor in it to take better photos.

Does the demographic that cares about Apple even care about watches, outside of as a vanity item ("oh nice watch, is it expensive?"). Those people aren't looking for a cheap-looking plastic watch with a touch screen.

I'm on my third iPhone and third iPad. But if this is what Apple has in store (HEY KIDS BIGGER SCREEN AND A FIRMWARE UPDATE) this company is going to wither and die. If you were going to upgrade already, great, but there hasn't been anything more than hardware refreshes in how long now?

And fuckouthere with the iWatch.

yesssss

The watch will definitely be cool to dig into, development wise.  I wonder if it works with Apple's iBeacon technology.

Pretty eh conference.  I'll be getting the 6, and keep an eye on the Watch.  Probably won't bite on one until the next iteration.
