GS goes to South America

I'm in the airport about to head out to Salvador, Brazil. From there it's Rio, Iguazu Falls, Pantanal wildlife area, La Paz, Uyuni salt flats, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Lima.

Will try not to get mugged. Will try to update. Will be there about 3 weeks.

Got into Salvador. I went out last night and saw a bunch of performers, ate a lot of street food, and bar hopped. This city is a little more rundown than I had thought from reading about it. There were armed cops posted in all the central areas.

At one point I ended up in kind of a seedy bar and realized I was the only cac around. Kind of felt like a line stormtrooper in Mos Eisley.

I would probably have felt more like the guy who would be listed as "bar victim #2" in the movie's credits.

With Imgur, you can just append s, m or l to the code, like so i.imgur.com/n14e7tyl.jpg and it will scale it. These are essentially just thumbnails though, so quite small even on "l(arge)".
