I saw these without context and expected it to shared the premise of Predators, except the aliens kidnap soldiers from different time periods to fight robot dinosaurs.  there's a weird mishmash of styles with the three people.

Yeah, same here. I met some of them at E3 back before the original Killzone launched, and even talked to them about bringing the game to Japan. Then Sony bought them.

Thats what Im worried about too Wrath I tried playing KZ2 but it was just so meh,  a janky open world rpg with dinos would still be more fun then a janky corridor shooter. What went wrong with KZ is the heavy feel of play imho, this is much less of an issue with rpgs

Also, I hope they got a good director to go along with what I assume is a good writer. There was nothing wrong with the story or setting of any of the KZ games, but the delivery, presentation and whatnot... yikes.
