Thinking out loud:
I always thought to myself that Nexus 4 was an excellent phone and a jumping point into Androids... but I really, really got burned on the camera and battery. The stock OS also started feeling dated next to the recent skins and OS's by other competitors. I told myself, even way before the Nexus 5 reveal, that I'm upgrading the minute Google cleans up those three areas.
I had already set aside some $ for a iPhone 6 Plus, mostly because of the good balance between camera, battery, and OS. But now? I can get a Nexus 6 *and* a Google Player for
less than the price of a 6 Plus (all off contract).
... Now to wait for the performance comparisons.
tl;dr— I'm getting a Nexus 6
