Other than moving to Japan alone the first time, I haven’t been overseas on a solo vacation, but when I travel anywhere by myself alone, it feels pretty freeing. I don’t have to worry about anyone else’s schedule, I can revise the day’s destination at any time, and it is easy to approach (or be approached by) new people.

I find traveling someplace new, alone, invigorating.

just to be on the safe side, double check what you can actually claim as an expense by your company, the last place i worked at only expensed meals on trips (so we would just order loads of booze with dinner)

It's difficult for me to define most Yiddish words when someone asks me what they mean (in irl) because of how I picked up those words. (Nebbish is practically kryptonite because I never think to say I'm one if someone asks.)
