Helped my family to get the new fridge upstairs into the kitchen after several days with some cousins of mine, and now the new kitchen is complete; forget man-caves and all that shit brehs, a new kitchen is a blessing and motivates you to cook even more

That motherfucker was fucking heavy though; like, colossal titan heavy (the boy Creepy Stalker knows what I'm talking about); almost destroyed the stairs

Triumph of the yesterday: saw Avengers AoU in 3D, then went out for Mexican lunch and local IPA -- we were the ONLY people in the establishment both times.

Just witnessed an Office Space moment brehs. There's a guy at work who is about 57 years old, real good guy but kind of eccentric. For the last couple years he always talked about how he was taking classes for driving a truck. I had kind of dismissed this as water cooler shit since he has a really good job, but today he walked out of a meeting with management and said he he's retiring. They offered him a promotion but he said nah, I'd rather drive a truck than be in an office for another year.

He has everything lined up and will be driving a truck locally before doing out of state trips in a few months. Gotta give this man dap, no matter what question we asked him ("but you could be making way more money, what about health care, what about blah blah blah" he kept say "yea...but you don't understand. I really want to drive a fucking truck."

I talk to a shitload of truck drivers due to the fact that I deal with all the logistical shit in my company.
Some of those dudes are legit, they do nothing but discuss politics all damn day when they arrive considering they listen to nothing but news radio on the road. Truck drivers are a weird group though, one of my clients has this dude on their payroll that taught at a university for years before just bouncing to deliver produce.

Then there's another dude who calls himself a socialist and hits up my warehouse crews for wooden pallets to build his house out in the forest or some shit. Talked to that dude, I don't think he's all there.

I dunno, sometimes I think that would be a fun job to have. Just driving up and down the roads delivering shit, listening to whatever. But it's got to have the same kind of bullshit and stress as other jobs.

Some of those guys have some pretty awesome cabs, too. With tiny house-like stuff in the back. I've see cabs that are large enough to house small kitchens and even showers.
