I had a test for one of my classes the other day where I needed to read a whole book that I only got two days prior. But an unexpected difficulty came when I accidentally left it at work. I didn't get it back until the next day which left me about 4 hours to finish reading 160 pages. Some how I managed to do that (minus about 20 or so pages), and today we got the results back and I absolutely killed it. Got every single question right, including the extra credit. Feels pretty good.

Woo! Went to the dentist for my checkup and was worried cause my gums started bleeding again, but it turns out it's only some mild inflammation which should go away after some more diligent flossing. Furthermore, she was really ecstatic about the health of my gums after surgery and all my deep pockets have gone down to normal healthy levels again! This is great to hear cause it's been fucking killing my demeanor all week. Now I can finally party!

Got two more points, which meant an A overall instead of a B+.

I assume old black dudes are sexist like old white dudes are racist. Every now and then my barber gives good advice on FEMALES but usually it's cringe stuff. I haven't told him about Dollar Store Girl yet. He probably knows though. He always knows. One day I'll walk in and he'll say "how is that white devil" and I'll fall to the ground begging for forgiveness.

It's worse when I walk in and recognize someone. It's like seeing someone you know at a brothel. The barber shop is an intimate affair, at least to me. I don't want to hear my friend's barber conversation and vice versa. Yea if it's a real nicca you know he won't reveal the contents of the discussion to outside people, but none of my black friends are real niccas. One day my mom is going to ask about Dollar Store Girl and I'll know it's because I slipped and mentioned her to my barber in the presence of an Uncle Tom.

The bourgeoisie center of my mind picked up a Tassimo coffee machine for super cheap sub €60 over the weekend in a fit of class betrayal. The discs are also incredibly cheap recently in supermarkets. You just plug it in the top. The machine reads the barcode off the discs, knows the exact temperature to serve em' at, how much water to use and how to foam it on top of that.

I hope it is reliable. I wouldn't buy LG stuff unless it was non-critical. The laundry/dryer combo machines have been available in Japan for 20 years, as space is at a premium and almost no home has space for a dryer. My impression is they break down a lot.

This is a bit old, but I got fired a while back (for a bullshit reason, I might add).

But no, I didn't mistakenly post in the wrong thread. While it was a shame that this happened, I'm also kinda relieved that it did. My job was well paying, and enjoyable for the most part, but it was also a dead end job with nothing that I was interested in at a higher level, and I hated the commute. It's really a blessing in disguise. While I didn't love the job, I was also really, really complacent, and if I never got fired, I probably would never have left.

But now, I can actually try to pursue stuff I'm actually interested in. I have a few options at the moment and while none of them pay stellar, they're in fields that I actually have passion for with way more opportunities to move up.

So here's to a new start, bitches!
