This is a bit old, but I got fired a while back (for a bullshit reason, I might add).
But no, I didn't mistakenly post in the wrong thread. While it was a shame that this happened, I'm also kinda relieved that it did. My job was well paying, and enjoyable for the most part, but it was also a dead end job with nothing that I was interested in at a higher level, and I
hated the commute. It's really a blessing in disguise. While I didn't love the job, I was also really, really complacent, and if I never got fired, I probably would never have left.
But now, I can actually try to pursue stuff I'm actually interested in. I have a few options at the moment and while none of them pay stellar, they're in fields that I actually have passion for with way more opportunities to move up.
So here's to a new start, bitches!
