Ive had what people would say are nice whiskies with a buddy that is in the know, and the best I said was "this one is not entirely horrible".

I liked jameson mixed with ginger ale and ginger though.

Coworkers and I killed 8+ bottles of Prosecco and played board games/Drawful for hours.

Then I met my notoriously-coenabling roommate and his friends at a dance club and tore it up for an hour.

Zero hangover today.

And not because I'm young or whatever. I wasn't even in the top 5 most wasted people I hung out with last night. It was actually pretty sobering seeing other people basically shouting, being annoying, and stumbling over themselves - especially my roommate.

I also didn't get a drink at the club so I had an entire hour to sober up while dancing.

Good times.

I've been antagonizing/co-opted into doing Jameson shots almost every other day at work the last two weeks.

Shit is fucking nasty. Whiskey.

(And before you go "lol Jameson," I've tried $300+/bottle whiskey and it's almost just as nasty.)

Anyways, I've resolved to not do anymore of that. My go-to shots are the college white girl spread: fireball and jaegerbombs.

So I doubt many here will understand outside of my bros Pallando and Bluemax
But in the LDS church unless you specifically do paperwork to "resign" you're counted as Mormon until they have proof of your death or you're 120. That means you get counted and will get visits from members/leadership/missionaries. I hadn't removed my name from the church because it would be a pain and would cause drama with the extended family. After yesterday's shooting I realized that my name was still in the books of an organization that was feigning horror at the shooting but still marginalizing LGBT people and I couldn't sit around and ignore that. I'd feel wrong. I'm putting in my paperwork today to be removed. I know it will not seem much for many but it's a pretty big deal for me and I know this is another step in the healing process from this damned church.
