computer halp!!!
« on: October 20, 2014, 12:43:04 PM »
Last nigth after watching the classic Brick Mansions, my pc completly froze, even the caplock light in the keyboard was frozen, I turned it off and when I turn it back on the ligths came on and the fans started too but the machine diidn't boot up, not even the bios screen.

have already tried taking out the ram cards one at a  time and taking out the hard drive but nothing, sometimes the lights and fans wont even start up, you guys think it might be the power supply or the integrated graphic card?  :tocry

You can try to re-seat your cpu, but if your machine powers up with no post(a beep) the mobo is toast.

there was a long beep the first time I turned it on after the it crashed but none after that, tried again today and now not even the lights and fans boot up, its completely dead.

Could be your PSU, could be your mobo. Considering you live in the Caribbean I'd lean towards your PSU. Borrow someone else's and try it out or get a multimeter and test the voltages of the PSU. You can find diagrams online, something like this:
