It was dubbed back in the day, but only four episodes. As far as I know, nobody's subbed it either. I'd like to see it, too, but...

Ya the movie is just the 4 episodes edited into a movie I believe. It was cool though. Like starwars meets green lantern.

The four episodes that got dubbed were edited into a single movie, but there's also a separate movie that came out a few months before the series started airing. The latter of the two is on Youtube.

What kinda Anime we talkin bout?

I tend to like more "Serious" stuff. I keep running into things where it seems it might be on the level then some character does that does that goofy-goofy-whaaaa-camera-face-squinteyes thing and I just want to close things down. It even seems to pollute otherwise ok things I've liked like Battleship Yamato which was otherwise pretty great.

Edit: Point is, though I think there was another thread for this, what's good? Really liked Beserk which I just watched.

I'm sure Rumbler will chime in but we tend to watch 80s/90s era anime/whatever is available on youtube. Also they tend to be movies or OVAs that only a few episodes. For example: last week we watched Lensman: The Secret of the Lens and an episode from the Dirty Pair OVA's. They've definitely been more "serious" anime played time from time.

I personally recommend this Sunday: Hurricane Polymar Holy Blood(which is an awesome title btw). I recently watched a few days ago and it's a two part OVA, features sweet Umetsu designs(Kite,Mezzo Forte,Wizard Barristers), filled with really high quality action scenes. It does however have goofy-camera-squinteyes and kinda odd humor.

It's usually a mix of stuff, mostly movies and short OVAs from the 80's and 90's, since there's a ton of that stuff on Youtube. Newer stuff gets booted off Youtube pretty quick, if it gets put there at all, so don't expected anything like that. Sometimes it's more serious stuff, sometimes it's more comedic, and I'm definitely open to listening to specific requests.
