I just came across it randomly at the store, the Skylanders stuff made sense. But Call of Duty made me lol because they're all like the depressing war-torn locations/style of the games. Plus the whole mercenaries part.

Apparently they have Ass Creed too  :lol

 :piss megabloks :piss2
trash. I'd get these for christmas from lesser family members and relegate them to a bin in my closet. I'd react to finding one of those pieces of shit in my Lego piles the way people would react to finding a bone in a piece of cake. Horror and disgust

The advantage of Duplo was that you couldn't accidentally mistake it for a Lego piece.

Why would anyone ever buy a Skylander Mega Blok when they could buy a skylander figure that could be played in the video game instead?  ???

It's actually really smart of them to pivot from being known as D-tier LEGO knockoffs to paying a shitload of money to take on popular licenses that LEGO won't touch(The Simpsons is the most risqué thing that LEGO licenses by a wide margin and they only started doing that this year.) I believe Mattel bought them earlier this year, before that they were owned by like...Rose Art, which were Crayola knockoffs when I was a kid.

They actually put out a lot of interesting, intricate models through the Call of Duty and Halo lines but I can't justify paying LEGO prices for them.

(Yeah, peddling military propaganda to kids is gross but can I deny my hypothetical kids GI Joe?  :larry )

The true head-scratchers are stuff like Gears of War Erector sets, K'nex Titanfall and McFarlane buildable Walking Dead dioramas.

From my understanding the licenced stuff has done pretty well for them too, I know the Halo range (at least initially) sold really well. I think some of their other kids stuff like Dora did good too. Can't believe I forgot this one too

Nuketown? Now I'll finally have a reason to brutally mock the skill of my nonexistent little cousin and ceaselessly call him a cigarillo. :lawd
