There was a moment when you could see the old "there's still a coach in there" Calipari who didn't just exploit the one-and-done system freaking out because one of the guys didn't even bother to grab the rebound instead just letting it hit the floor, and this Wisconsin dude cuts in suddenly from behind and grabs it and goes completely around the UK player for an easy layup and the UK guy just stood there baffled at the whole sequence of events and Calipari looked like he wanted to kick that stupid little stool into his bench's faces.

Sports media follows such a predictable, basic trajectory. Good cop v bad cop. One guy makes an utterly asinine argument, the other guy pushes back with the opposing view...and callers line up in droves. That's how it works. Skip is really good at what he does...but what he does isn't journalism or any logical take on sports. It's entertainment.
