Now all of this is true, but it was said with such a tone of douche I had to look at him like  and let him know I already had a 360 and in this particular case, the PS3 version was slightly better and that I was primarily playing with people on my friends list in any case.

Re: politics.  These days I just say, "Oh, I'm not very political" and 99.9% of the time, they move on to talking about something else.  I just try to stay polite these days.  Last week, some broken, desperate divorcee who is a coworker asked me if I read this revolutionary book called Rich Dad Poor Dad.  I could have laughed her out of the room but I politely responded that I did read it.  She said a few seconds spiel and left.  Seems to work better than telling her how I really feel.
