Thought Sandy Alderson was supposed to be smart, breh

I think the Braves are leaning towards blowing up the team over the next two years and trying to compete hard in 2017, the first year they'll be in White Flight Stadium at Chik Fil A Field. They're possibly leaning towards trading Justin Upton AND/OR Heyward, which would gut the team for the next two years. I actually would be ok with this- just get some top tier prospects that project to be ready in 2 years or so, preferably at 3B and the OF. The thought of Evan Gattis playing LF makes me sad because his defense out there is awful, but whatever.

:rofl

Also, I love how the Mets pitching is finally coming together, so they decide to move the fences in AGAIN. The Giants have won 3 WS in 5 years in that pitchers' haven. Fuck this team.

Eh, I don't hate it. Hart has come to the (rightful, imo) conclusion that this group of assholes ain't winning shit and that he wasn't gonna be able to resign Heyward. So, it's either get one more year out of Heyward, two out of Walden, and a supplemental pick or 4 from Miller and a pretty decent prospect.

What's more worrying to me is that Hart seriously thinks guys rebounding will fix our offensive problems. At this point, I'm all for trading Justin too and trying to get back some really good offensive prospects that will be ready in a couple years. Just blow that shit up for 2015 and 2016.

I'd agree with that. If only the Mets traded for Upton instead of signing Cuddyer. :-\

Edit: Oh wait, he's only signed through this year, not 2016 too. Yeah, definitely trade him too.
