My roommate was playing Madden and we started talking about the teams with alot of players who have criminal records. I asked him why the NFL just doesnt ban all players with any kind of criminal record. He said that it would be racist, because the NFL would then be mostly white people.

Is it racist to suggest that the NFL should not allow players with a criminal record?

Haha It actually could be discrimination if it could be proven that there was not a job related reason for not allowing players with criminal records in, if it had an adverse impact and had a great effect on african american players
