The battle star galactica board game is a great time if you have at least four people.  Other than that I really only play settlers of catan.

Wah wah wah, let's all have sticks up our asses. I fully expect you to hate Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, hell even Louis CK too.

You definitely have to play with a smart crowd for it to be enjoyable, I've played with dumb people and that's no fun. Although I guess playing with the PC downer crowd here would be equally if not more awful.

I haven't unfortunately.  My normal game group (myself included) has gotten some crazy life stuff going on which limits our gaming time together so we will usually play a few of the old standards.  I do most of my boardgaming on my ipad.
