godba goal

https://vine.co/v/OE2wZX7ql03

cut the fuckin check

i don't really give a shit about todays game. we didn't tie so i'm fine with it as that was the most important thing. pretty bitchmade effort tho. De Gea the only real one on the squad. more of these efforts will find us outside the top 4 when it's a wrap. wanted to crack my screen when welbeck scored. fucking valencia.

We actually didn't play that terribly but we can't finish for shit. We have to stop with the aimless long balls that only end in goals when the opposition's defense fucks up. We need to overhaul our entire attacking line. I think we'd squeak by with a draw if Di Maria and Valencia weren't such tragedies.

Congrats to Arsenal, they deserved it.

thought both teams had long spells of being comically incapable of retaining the ball for more than two passes. a lot of blood and thunder punctuated by the occasional moment of class. not a great game of football but a great watch.

man united are fundamentally broken with no signs of any development in any one direction beyond hoofing it to fellaini or shamelessly throwing themselves to the floor. michael oliver had a worldy.

Today is the day brehs.

AEK - Olympiakos, second leg. We need a 0-0 or win after the 1-1 in the first leg. We're expecting a record 67,000 in attendance. Haven't had something  like that ever since our CL match with Milan. I expect a win.

If anyone wants to catch a few minutes of the game it'll be streamed here:
http://www.laola1.tv/en-int/live/aek-athens-fc-olympiakos-piraus/307662.html

Starts in half hour.

Yeah they're considering DC & Atlanta. Not Charlotte tho. Heck, the only other places they are considering down in the south is Nashville and Florida.

I'm hoping they do the Argentina - BRBR match here in Chicago. Mainly so I can bring my grandpa to watch....then again that would be a bad idea cause he'll probably throw slurs against the brazilians

That was a good writeup. Pretty much reaffirms what we've been saying about Van Gaal. He still hasn't found an identity with the team, as if he's barely getting by until the end of the season, trying to play as safely as possible. Hopefully this means he's getting ready for an overhaul during the summer. Some players have to go. A lot of players have to come in. He needs a whole different approach for next season, maybe try to reignite the idealism Wilson is referring to once he builds a fitter squad, or else we're just gonna have to deal with another disappointing year.

As for Roma, yeah we're probably fucked. Fiorentina has been playing very well while we've been on a slow decline. Doumbia is apparently starting today, hopefully he shows some good elements.

bet you lot are queuing up for your jollies tomorrow. one of our first choice back four fit (with our best midfielder being grafted in to do a job), song will play despite a dodgy knee and dodgier performances, valencia got his toe murdered by a coffee cup so we're now down to one striker despite playing two up top all season.

should be a right old laugh.

After receiving a sonning from a monaco bench I'm not willing to make concrete statements. Dull 2-1 affair I'd say.

except monaco are tighter than a rhino's foreskin at the back, while we shipped seven between palace and the baggies.

ugggggggggggh football.

Ipswich were on a run of 1 defeat out of 20 games and were knocking on the door of promotion in a top 2 finish at the end of 2014.

Now? ugh.
we've won 4 out of 13 in 2015 and have lost 7. We've dropped out of the play offs and now it looks like we can't buy a win.
Given next season sees the start of -stupid- parachute payments this really is the last big chance to get out of this division - still time to recover but we look shot.

Carlisle have managed to dig their way out of relegation at least - albeit by 3 points and still have an awful goal difference.

we were third just before christmas now we're clinging to 10th with one win in twelve. coupled with an unsanctimonious cup humiliation at the hands of pikey pulis.

atleast your lad cresswell has worked out. played every single minute and is most people's hammer of the year.

hope advocaat goes through for the mackems. a lot of talk of allardyce going over there,  which you couldn't blame him for given the treatment he gets over here.
