Can't wait till people shit on the new games while not realizing the old games sucked about as much, again.

Rare made some great games in the 8-bit days.  They went to shit after Nintendo took over.

zero chance for a nuts and bolts 2, right? so many people whined about that game and it didn't sell or review particularly well.  but it's probably the best xbox 360 game and can really benefit from better hardware.

If it wasn't a Banjo game it would have been celebrated as unique and a return to form for Rare. It was genuinely a cool idea and a middling execution that was torpedoed by it's adherence to the brand.

Unfortunately Publishers, especially those with poor management, do idiot math and just point to using a known IP to embolden any unique game idea because they are risk averse. I know it was Rare's game direction from the start but someone, somewhere should have had the common sense to break it out into it's own thing. A lot of new IP from established studios happen because they were tinkering with an idea that was just a little too out there for the brand but showed a lot of promise. And more often than not those turn into their own franchises.

Make a new Blast Corps game that doesn't suck and I promise I'll buy an Xbox One.

Nuts and Bolts should have been a death dealing embarrassment to travellers tales' Lego games.

I also loved Viva Piñata, but don't care about anything else in their oeuvre.

The bright side of there being 0 chance of a Nuts & Bolts sequel is that I won't have to rethink not going with XBONE
