My boyfriend loves the Super Nintendo but hates playing roms on keyboard. So I told him you can play pc games, including roms, with a controller pretty easy these days. So I show him how to hook up a dual shock and stuff, but he's not a big fan of the wire. So I got two wireless dongles at the store today - one for me and one for him. They're insignia blue tooth adapters. It's honestly the first bluetooth adapter I've ever used. So I tested mine at first with my phone and I could listen to music wirelessly through my computer speakers from my phone. Pretty cool.
So I started working on trying to get the ps3 controller to work for him via bluetooth. It wouldn't give and honestly, after fucking with drivers all night, I think I've messed his dongle up. I had to delete the driver one time and then reinstall it. Everything was fine except for the fact that now audio is not broadcasted to the speakers. The phone can connect via bluetooth but I don't hear anything. Going into settings reveals that the phone driver is now literally gone. Just poof. When I try to go to my iphone bluetooth settings it just stalls like this.
We were really hoping to play Mario Kart together tonight, oh well but like, I still want him to be able to use the thing. Help? I've tried reinstalling the driver, I've tried using a trouble shooter, I've tried rebooting the computer, I've tried disconnecting the phone from bluetooth and then reconnecting it, the audio driver never activates again.
